These CONNECT classes will begin on September 13, 2026
Angels and Demons
When it comes to the topic of angels and demons people can be indifferent, fanatical, or superstitious. God wants us to be none of those things. Instead, God has a lot to say to us us about angels and demons and their relevance to our lives in his Word. We will study this doctrine biblically, theologically, and historically, and seek to understand its importance for the church. The class will be offered once in the Fall and then again in the Spring.
This class will be taught by Pastor Chad.

When People Are Big, and God Is Small
This class will work through Ed Welch’s book, When People Are Big, and God Is Small, to examine the common sin of fearing man more than God. We will identify how the fear of man shapes our lives and consider how increasing our fear of the Lord helps us defeat this sin. By growing in our love and fear of God, the fear of man begins to lose its power.
This class will be taught by Pastor Rob and Brandon Young.
Room 145–146
Last Words - 2 Timothy and 2 Peter
The last letters we know of from Peter and Paul are Paul's second letter to Timothy and Peter's second letter to the Jewish Christians in Asia (Galatia). This class will assume that Peter and Paul are the authors of the books (2 Peter 1:1 and 2 Tim. 1:1). Knowing you were about to die and to be martyred for your beliefs, what would you want to say to your family, children, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and friends? Now think of being the leaders that Peter and Paul were in the early church, both knowing they would soon be put to death for their beliefs. These are the circumstances that Peter and Paul wrote. The last will of both men – Paul writing to Timothy, to pass the mantle of his work to his adopted son and Peter to the Jewish Christians in Asia Minor - watch out for false teachers from within.
Ian Masterson will teach this class.
